The Nightjar will use their wide gaping bill to easily catch flying insects. Visible across mainly England, Ireland and wales. Most Common in East Anglia and Southern England. Among woodland, moorland and heath land the nest is built on the ground or among dead leaves for camouflage. Widespread across UK, only a few parts of Scotland. Greyish-brown plumage with a small yet wide opening bill. Two eggs are laid which both parents incubate and feed until the female lays a second clutch which the male then manages himself. Includes Nightjar bird call.
