The Wagwing will feed on various berries. Waxwings will pass through parts of Scotland and east coast England. They are purely visitors to Britain. They don't breed in the UK and visit in limited numbers except in certain years when it is believed that the abundance of Rowan berries entices the birds over in great numbers. Notable features include a brown crest and bright coloured with destinctive red wax like tips on the upper flight feathers. They are known to breed in Finland. Includes Waxwing bird call.
